Terms of service

The service
UnitCare lets landlords and property managers receive and track maintenance reports from tenants through a QR code linked to each property.
Your account
Keep your password safe – you are responsible for activity on your account. Only add properties you manage, and only share a property's QR code with people who live or work there.
Emergencies
UnitCare is not an emergency service. Alerts can be delayed or missed (for example if a phone is off or notifications are blocked). Tenants should always contact emergency services directly when there is a risk to life or property.
Pro subscriptions
Pro is billed in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Account settings; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. If a subscription ends, nothing is deleted: tenants can still report on every unit, the landlord chooses which units stay fully active up to the free limit, and the rest become read-only until Pro is restarted.
Acceptable use
Don't use UnitCare to send spam, upload unlawful content, or try to access other people's data.
Availability and liability
We work to keep UnitCare running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we'll let account holders know by email.
